Facts

Warning Lamps: Beginning on April 1st 1978, all buses built for Ohio were equipped with an 8 light flasher system. Stop arms also became required equipment beginning in early 1979.   At this time black paint behind the warning lights became mandatory as well.

Signal Lamps: Buses built prior to 4/1/78 were equipped with 7" amber arrows for turn lamps and 7" red lamps for brake lights. Back-up lights and tail lights could be 4" white and red respectively. Most buses were also equipped with the "BACKING" boxes prior to '78 however only a few have been so equipped since then. 4/1/78 also marked the switch to regular amber turn signals from the arrows.
