Facts
Warning Lamps: Ohio only required four light warning systems for the duration of the 1960's. Most of the buses didn't even have the black paint that surrounds the lamps on the header. Some schools did later add this.
School Bus ID #: Every vehicle operating as a school bus is assigned an five digit ID number by that state that remains with the vehicle during is life. This number replaced license plates in 1966 and is located on the front bumper on a white rectangle and at the license plate location on the rear.
